Important notes
- Eligibility requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to attend.
- Prices are listed per person and include a full week-long retreat program.
- You can join from most timezones in the US and Europe.
- If you’re in Europe, you will have a fully-adjusted schedule with organized watch-parties to watch recordings of sessions that happened in the US timezone. You will receive the exact same content and time with facilitators.
- Participants in Asian time zones may find the schedule challenging due to time differences. We don't typically don’t recommend joining from these regions as it may impact your retreat experience.
- The opening session begins at:
- US timezones: Thursday, October 9th 5:00 PM PST
- EU timezones: Friday, October 10th at 9:00 AM CET
- Please plan to wrap up any important plans by the kick-off session and dedicate the entirety of two Friday-Sunday blocks (10-12 October & 17-19 October) to meditation.
- This is a 10-day retreat. Please only sign up if you can attend the entire program. If you foresee any conflicts, reach out to us before booking.
- Despite being a work-compatible retreat, you will be expected to meditate and engage with the curriculum for the entire day during the two Friday-Sunday blocks. You’ll need to clear all outside commitments and prepare to be mostly offline for those 6 days. If that’s not possible, please consider joining us at a different time.

Work-compatible format and schedule
- This is NOT a standard meditation retreat. You complete back-to-back weekend intensives, and meditate 3 hours/day throughout the week:
- Thursday, October 9: Opening session in the evening (this will be Friday morning for EU timezones)
- Friday - Sunday, October 10-12: Instruction in the morning and evening, live group sessions, 1:1 meetings with facilitators and self-paced meditation schedule. Maintain an environment of contemplation.
- Monday - Thursday, October 13-16: 1.5 hours of morning meditation before work, 1.5 hours of evening meditation after work (on your own time). Of course, feel free to meditate more!
- Friday - Sunday, October 17-19: Instruction in the morning and evening, live group sessions, 1:1 meetings with facilitators and self-determined meditation schedule. Maintain an environment of contemplation.
- All live zoom calls will be recorded and immediately uploaded.
- Online retreats are an excellent opportunity to cultivate a meditation practice from the comfort of your own home. To ensure you are able to fully dedicate yourself to the meditation practice, we advise that you:
- Ensure you have a private space where you can meditate for the duration of the retreat (like a private room where you will not be disturbed)
- Warn anyone you live with that you will be fully dedicated to meditation during the two Friday-Sunday blocks (10-12 October & 17-19 October)
- Once you sign up, you will receive detailed instructions on how to set up your meditation environment to minimize distractions.

❓
Are online retreats as effective as in-person?
- People often expect worse results from online retreats than in-person. This isn't the case. We’ve seen similar results across both online and in-person retreats for both % of participants in jhanas and willingness to recommend the retreat.
- Our online retreats have exactly the same curriculum as the in-person ones
- Since you discover jhanas in the privacy of your own mind, the quality of instruction and your environment matters more than whether other participants are physically located next to you. Learning jhanas in-person vs. online may be like eating a meal at the park, at your own dinner table, or at a friend’s house – the core experience is the same!
- See Are Online Retreats as Good as In-Person? for more details comparing online and in-person retreats.
